How to set a video Lock Screen on Samsung
Set a moving video as your Samsung Galaxy Lock Screen wallpaper from Gallery or Settings, with the 15 second and 100 MB limits that One UI applies.
Samsung phones on One UI 5 and later can use a video as the Lock Screen wallpaper without any extra app. The video must be 15 seconds or shorter and under 100 MB. Wallmill's Android videos are 12 second loops, well under both limits.
From the Gallery app
- Download the Android video from a wallpaper page. It lands in Gallery, in the Downloads album.
- Open the video in Gallery.
- Tap the three dots menu, then Set as wallpaper.
- Choose Lock screen, check the preview and tap Done or Set on Lock screen.
From Settings
- Open Settings, then Wallpaper and style, then Change wallpapers.
- Under My wallpapers or Gallery, pick the video.
- Choose Lock screen and confirm.
Menu names move a little between One UI versions. If you cannot find an option, search Settings for "wallpaper".
Home Screen
Samsung only plays video on the Lock Screen. For the Home Screen, use the phone still from the same page, or a video wallpaper app (see other Android phones).
